German runners in France today

The Cagnes sur Mer meeting continues today, when there are again several German runners engaged. In the opening 1500 metres race at 13.50 Pavel Vovcenko runs Cafe Mystique (Dominique Boeuf), but we prefer the English raider Royal Power (David Nicholls/ Ioritz Mendizibal). Vovcenko runs another outsider Fenella Rose (Delphine Santiago) in the 1300 metres event at 14.20, but Peter Schiergen´s Vianello (Boeuf) looks much stronger. Has Blume´s Daufer ran vey bdly lst tim hr and needs to imnprove to figure in the lay jocjys race at 14.50. Werner Baltromei runs two in the 2000 metres handicap for 4yo´s at 15.55, Astronom (Romain Perruchot) and Tiger Village (Boeuf), with preference for the latter, and the stable have another good chance with Mariston in the claimer over 15009 metres half an hour later. Vovcenko´ s best chance is with Lasse (Thierry Thulliez) in the 2000 metres handicap for older horses at 16.55 in which Mario Hofer´s Royal Pepper (Gaetan Masure) is another German entry. Lasse runs in the popular colours of Stall onextwo and could go well at a big price.
