Deauville, Tuesday, 29 November: Interesting nine races are on the programme today at the Fibersand track in Deauville. The highlight of the day is the Prix Lyphard (7th race/16.45/52,000 Euro/1900 m), which belongs to the list class and in which twelve horses are still participating after Policy of Truht has withdrawn.
Parol (Anthony Crastus), trained by Bohumil Nedorostek for Dirk von Mitzlaff, is registering his first chances of winning after a series of placings. In his most recent appearance on the list in Saint-Cloud, he came off respectably in third place. Another horse owned by Germany is Vents Contraires (Mickael Forest). The four-year-old runs for the Galoppclub Iffezheim e.V. and is trained by Carmen Bocskai. Three weeks ago, the gelding won a 70,000 euro Quinté Handicap here ahead of Sky Power (Stephane Pasquier), whose last triumph was three months ago. In a `Classe 2` he easily defeated Partenit (Aurelien Lemaitre) by just under two lengths. Parchemin (Theo Bachelot) managed his first win on the Fibersand track at his fourth attempt in Chantilly. Sweet Believer (Ioritz Mendizabal) is trained by William Haggas in England and has strong placings under his belt. Sundoro (Mickael Barzalona) recently won a leg of the Défi du Galopp race series.
