There is, after all, the possibility of a split screen, as is practised in England and even in Germany. Equidia could have gone to Bordeaux and shown the race from Angers on a small screen. But there was radio silence. As the weather, you were looking down the tube. It was better to show only pictures from the driving ring than live races, for whatever reason.
