Toulouse, Sunday, November 27: The 17th and final leg of the Défi du Galop racing series (1st race/15:50/60,000 euros/2400m) attracted a big turnout today in Toulouse with 17 participants. Pouvoir Royal (Jean-Bernard Eyquem), Up Helly (Stephane Pasquier) and Qatar River (Fabrice Veron) did everything right in a `Classe 2` on their last appearance here and are first choice again this time. Control Tower (Sebastien Maillot) pleased in her latest list honor behind the German standardbred, as did Prince de Montfort (Mickael Barzalona) in the 14th stage at Dieppe ahead of Equinoxe (Alexis Pouchin). Olympie (Tony Piccone) knows only good performances, which she achieves mainly in Quinté handicaps. Most recently she came in just behind the winning Circe (Theo Bachelot).
